Best Season to Shoot

All Year Round (Avoid Winter): Hot air balloon pre-wedding photography can be enjoyed throughout the year. However, we recommend avoiding winter months as temperatures can be very cold at altitude. Spring and autumn offer the most comfortable conditions with beautiful scenery.

Best Time of Day

Early Morning (Sunrise): Hot air balloons fly at sunrise, so you need to arrive by 5:00 AM. This means makeup must start as early as 1:00 AM - please note this is a very demanding early start. The reward is breathtaking sunrise views over the Yarra Valley.

Photography Tips
